XJR6 ‘Fruity’ Exhaust Recommendations
Hi all, apologies as I expect this has been covered 1000 times.
However, I’m looking for an exhaust, or sections, probably stainless for longevity, that will help the car breathe and make it sound a bit more throaty.
I don’t want anything really loud, that will fill the cabin with a drone, just something a bit fruitier than standard.
Looking forward to your recommendations.

This is a normally aspirated 4.0 liter with the Andy bracket to advance the timing
Done from exhaust manifolds back so fully system replacement
He had problems ordering it as the LWB and SWB components were mixed up
The LWB is 6 inches longer

Not a whole lot readily available, and not many proper videos for comparing the sound.
Quicksilver, Mina gallery, AJ6 and Simply Performance are usually the way to go if you don't have a local shop that offer custom work.
Judging by the muffler size, i would guess the quicksilver system is louder then the Simply performance and AJ6 ones, which replicates the size of the original, only in stainless.
Mina seems to offer the rear muffler only, not Stainless intermediate mufflers like SP, AJ6 and QS.
Personally i have only tried a rear silencer delete kit from zaustworks, but that sounded pretty bad, so i will probably just buy some generic stainless mufflers and stick them in there.

As the Y pipe comes together after the rear O2 sensors the original single pipe is 60 mm

If yes, where/how does it differ from standard? Thanks 🙏

The video is from a contributor from Norway I think
X300 SWB Sovereign
He has the Andy bracket installed for timing biasing
He had trouble with the vendor shipping a longer LWB dimension
I think ( and not for sure ) the supercharged AJ16 uses the same exhaust manifolds as the same downpipe section diameter ( there is some differences in EGR and smog pump fittings )
The smog pump on a supercharged engine is on the right so the fwd exhaust manifold would receive the piping ( checking ) ( I can't tell as I don'r have one)
We use the 4 O2 sensor downpipe in the US where you have only 2 O2 sensors in the UK
You should check your downpipe section as on paper only comes in 4 O2 sensor version
It can be checked against this page
