"iRotors" ?
Have any of you purchased new cross drilled and slotted rotors from "iRotor"? They are all over e-Bay and have their own web site:
http://www.irotors.com/storefrontpro...5&c=141716.
Are they any good? Any other inexpensive suggestions?
Also, I noticed that when they list p/n's for front XJR rotors, they show numbers for '98-'01's. Are '02-'03' OEM front rotors different than '98-'01's?

RE:
I'd go with what Jaguar recommend, these are zinc plated. What happens to this stuff after a few heavy braking cycles? It wont prevent oxidization once worn off. Complete bumpf to plate discs.
I've used AP/Brembo rotors forever - and to be honest, you get what you pay for, those makers don't zinc plate their dsics. One thing to spend cash on is the brakes, they may save your life and others. The most important aspect of the car. The AP's are competition things, completely dead feeling until up to temp, then the stop you like no other - I'm running an XJR100 at the moment, and they have Brembo, these are more forgiving, not needing anywhere near the heat in them to stop effectively. Save up and do the right thing.

Check this site out. They "seem" to have what you're looking for.

RE: "iRotors" ?
When i was working as a Jag mechanic we purchased our parts from Davidmanners they have some different quality discs tho choose from
I would go whith the lemförder discs they were great. newer had a problem whith them.
Otherwise EBC makes lots of great break parts.
The discs you are refering to i don´t know anything about.

It is $306 for both rotors, and free shipping. Not too bad in my book. I've had them for about a year and hardly any wear to speak of. Not like the OEM rotors. If you click on the blue highlighted description it will tell you what VIN goes with which part #. Or you can call them with your last 6 of your vin # and they should be able to help you. Hope you can find what you're looking for.

RE: "iRotors" ?
I've heard great things about Lemforder and EBC both.
Also, StopTech is a GREAT brand, but I'm not sure if they make products for the XJR.
Personally, I'd love a set of slotted rotors. Slots that actually touch the end, or very close to, and cross-drilled rotors are just asking to crack. Avoid them, though I have been tempted several times to pick up some cross drilled rotors because they look so damned good.
