Do you have any respect? Why are you talking to them like that? Rude.

In partial defence of Cambo, he's added real facts and mods to this board within the X type and X350 forums in particular, and seeing how long the BIP conversions/mods have been going without actual proof (on TC's car for example) days, weeks, months and years go by without a car to see just reiterates what other members feel without saying it in that way.
Perhaps BIP want to build up aticipation and business, by posting pictures and suggesting outputs may tease a few, but in all honesty it's dyno sheets we want to see
Stay cool guys

Interesting how low is the base point with all of those modifications - including tune. 306RWP ~ 365-370BHP ( = the engine as new ). Peak power comes also with quite low RPMs, which tells most probably that Eaton is not able to work well ( even it's ported one ) at high RPMs when both pulleys changed. That seems to be very normal situation.

First of all let me apologise to BIP and anyone else who's feelings got hurt. It was a statement made out of frustration. I'm sorry.
You guys have invested so much time (this project has been going on for over a year now) and money (I dread to think what the bill is so far) but you are falling down right at the finish line with the way you are communicating to us, your potential customers.
We are on jaguarforums.com, not Facebook. Please post your results here in future.
Thankfully some members have copied the info into another thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...48/#post580038
I for one am very disappointed that you guys made the run with no cats on the car.
Why? Because this skews the data and doesn't show the true results from the headers.
We've got anecdotal evidence of a dead-stock 4.2L XJR that gained 50HP by simply removing the cats https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...12/#post562567
If you believe that or not, it's a good reminder that cats are a major restriction in an exhaust system, conservative people state 10-15HP is lost in cats alone. If the cats are old & clogged then even more HP can be gained by removing them. So how much of that 40HP on the dyno sheet is from the headers, and how much from deleting the cats? We don't know!
Believe me it's not my intention to demotivate or discredit the project, you're doing so well, I just wish you could get that last 5% right.

Here you go fellas
The Dynamics Dyno we have at our shop is a real heartbreaker. It reads about 15% lower than most Dynojets in our area. For Example, our blown M5 made 525rwhp on our Dynamics, and 603rwhp on a Dynojet just up the road from us. A couple other results that come to mind from our dyno day earlier this year, was a bone stock E92 M3 which made 300rwhp on our Dyno. Lastly, our customers W211 E55 AMG made 360 rwhp on our dyno, when we took it to the exact same Dynojet we had our M5 on, it made 430 rwhp there.
I have all these dyno sheets available in our database.

How about the holy grail of performance figures: Videos of actual 1/4 mile runs.
Real performances cannot lie on the high side. This dyno, that dyno, all way, way too variable as an absolute. Of course, using the same dyno to test gains is still the best route for tuning and R&D, but no two dynos can be compared at a distance. This is indisputable.
I've had dynos on my stock car with only 9.5 lbs of boost read from 267 RWHP and 348 RWHP.
It is my opinion that these people who area trying to sell product, and who have not run real performance tests are knowingly hiding something. (BP, not calling you out because obviously you have not yet had the opportunity to have a customer volunteer to do this yet) If they give the weight of the car and a video of the performance (easy to do in this day and age, especially since they are advertising on the internet) then assuming all else is honest, buyers have something concrete to make a judgment on. Otherwise they are being intentionally vague.
In the USA, we tend to use 1/4 mile runs, and on the other side of the pond I'm hearing they do the mile. Either way the above post and my own experience shows that dyno slips are wayyyyyy to willly nilly to be taken too seriously as a solid number.
I will walk my talk. My engine is currently taken apart to have an investigative closer look at various parts to see if Dr. Honeydew can find areas for further improvements with the stock parts. When I have it back (hopefully) together by the end of this month I am going to run a baseline with the Maxbored 82.5mm TB and ported intake parts, then with exhaust, then with a few *very*different intake designs.

Who is currently supplying 1/4 times for performance parts for these cars? I think thats a bit extreme as 1/4 is a much less reliable way to test HP for mods. Different tracks, drivers, tires, etc does not make an even playing field for comparison. Any parts that I have bought for my car haven't even had dyno slips to accompany them. I think the dyno chart is pretty self explanitory. the headers make a large amount of power. They will do so with or without cats, that I am confident about. there will be vids and other dyno's coming for bone stock cars. sit back relax and watch the power put to the ground!
