Default “Brake Fluid Low” false light

Hello everyone,
I ran across a thread addressing this a while back, but can’t for the life of me find it now. I’m getting an intermittent BRAKE FLUID LOW along with BRAKE warning lights. I can’t see a pattern, it just comes and goes, but does seem more frequent now and lasts longer.
As per that thread I found, I tried jumping the sensor plug with a paper clip and that didn’t work. I’ve jiggled the plug while in and that doesn’t seem to affect it either.
Any suggestions here? Do I need to bleed the fluid and replace it, replace the reservoir, etc…?
That bright red light is driving me nuts. Lol.
Many thanks in advance to all.

The connector itself on the reservoir has a history of giving trouble and is a unique part #

I have a “parts” car with that connector still in tact, think I could just splice that connector? I didn’t realize that the connector itself was problematic. I was thinking the sensor may be bad.

Could also be the ABS module. My dad's XJ8 was constantly giving false brake fluid low warnings even with a new sensor and no wire damage and a clean connector. Didn't stop until I replaced the module. Start with the wires and sensor first but check out the ABS module too, especially if your also getting traction/stability fail warning.

Okay, I switched out the connector only, no help. I guess sensor is next, but not sure how to do that. Can the sensor only be replaced, or do I have to change out the whole reservoir? Anyone have any idea / diagrams or instructions on how to do either?
Thanks to all here!
