Thats odd, you have exactly the same mods, and look here how happy BIP and Viapa where with the tune from Eurotek:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...cu-tune-53936/
Here you also say you had a tune from Eurotek:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ew-mods-43354/
Yet on the same dyno you where 40 rwhp higher, thats not an error margin, that means something serioulsy different...
It would have been nice to have seen at least the a/f ratio of both runs, as mixture has a great influance on output, so that would give a much better picture.
Using the 10 to 15 rwhp you gain with a sports cats, 25-30 rwhp isn't a bad gain at all for these headers on a heavily modified car, but some more dynos would certainly be apreciated considering the costs.

who is currently supplying 1/4 times for performance parts for these cars? I think thats a bit extreme as 1/4 is a much less reliable way to test hp for mods. Different tracks, drivers, tires, etc does not make an even playing field for comparison. Any parts that i have bought for my car haven't even had dyno slips to accompany them. I think the dyno chart is pretty self explanitory. The headers make a large amount of power. They will do so with or without cats, that i am confident about. There will be vids and other dyno's coming for bone stock cars. Sit back relax and watch the power put to the ground!

Cost was $150 via paypal.

not times, but mph, very telling of power as mph changes with power production. We're talking same cars, as we all know take 2 of the same cars and they can produce different power outputs. You can change alot to make a car quicker or slower, but the mph stays relatively the same. I have freinds that have 2 chassis dynos(dynodynamics also) and 1 engine dyno. Theyve showed be that just strapping a car tighter or looser etc change alot. Thats not even counting other factors. Yes its only a tool and in the right hands a good one, in the wrong well....
My point is this:
Dynos can/do/have lie on the high side. My own example. One dyno 348 RWHP, another 267. Car with 9.5 psi at 4100 lbs ran 13.82 and 13.86 with no traction issues. This tells me the 348 RWHP dyno was crap. <--anyone disagree with this??
1/4 mile times and speeds cannot (if we know the true weight) lie on the high side. Sure they can read low, and If there are traction issues, we can see that in the launch. It is much harder to hide a slow car on a video than a chat room.
My point is also this, anyone can show a dyno sheet of 1000 HP and own a VW bug, but only a real performance shows it is real.
Lots of people who have thoroughly checkbooked their cars may have all the goodies, but if they do not understand how to install/use/tune with them, their cars can still seriously underperform, they claim to have "X" HP, but are afraid, yes afraid to do an actual recorded run. I'm not singling anyone out here, and if one reads this and feel personally attacked, then they have there own issues, either with their car's performance or with themselves. This statement is not confined to this specific board (I'm saying this because somebody is going to get their panties is a bunch and feel personally attacked by this statement, I just don't know who yet)
It would seem that I am going to be among the first to show honest before and after dynos and 1/4 mile slips, and videos when able. I am not selling anything. I am not operating the dyno. After I do post results along the way, people, for the first time, can look at concrete, credible, verifiable, actual performances of:
Stock
+Fresh Eaton M112 with upper pulley and Ported TB and intake system.
+Exhaust
+aftermarket intake tube
maybe a few more mods later, but this for now.

Yours ought to be already 82.5, so you may get it back as an 88, so no one has any monopoly on 90mm-ish TBs.

I do thank you,
Sharing that was a great benefit to the Jag community, as well as all the other information you share.
You are unquestionably the single best resource for accurate info on this board, and again, unquestionably have done the most pioneering in HP gains for these cars.
I am just stubborn and want to see for myself how far I can go with the handicap of an Eaton.
