Mr Jay, or anyone, did you find the kit to repair the intake manifold connector for the brake booster vacuum line? I need it for my 2003 VDP x308

If it's at the throttle body this what I ordered for my 01 xj8 and it fit just fine.. I did not replace the brass insert, just the clip and O-ring.

Quick update on the jag, failed the mot on brakes and a wheel bearing so was an easy fix if not an expensive one, £517 in total, cats were holed at the bottom but gummed it up to get another year out of them but they’ll need changed next year, think they’re about £300 each and the steering rack joints have some play so I think that will need replaced, won’t be cheap next year! Hope everyone is ok!

Hi Dangelous, CK, HH, and everyone else. .

That's not too bad for a car that age....
Plus those are things you can do yourself that's a big savings. .
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe...

Jay

I just have to say how impressed I am by everyone stepping up to help MrJay with all his challenges. This forum continues to be an incredible source of info. and good nature to all of us. Even though I have owned Jaguars since 1967 when I got my basket-case XK-140 MC roadster, followed by Mk.8, E-Types, Ser. I XJ, Ser. III XJ, 3.4 Mk. II, X308 XJ-Rs (2), and XK-8 (and owned a Jaguar shop for many years) I have learned MASSIVE amounts from this forum. A HUGE THANK YOU to the forum and all who participate !

Not doing too bad, contracting is pretty slow...turning me into a ***** for work.

Got Bob a buddy, well dang, they should tear up that hut you made in no time...lol

To CK, I've seriously ran this through my head to convert my XJR.... https://www.magna.com/products/power...product/edrive ...put that in with AWD and that 5000lb behemoth would scream.
