1.5psi pulley or 2.5psi pulley?

I put the 1.5lb on mine and it is plenty for me but it all depends on what you want. The 2.5lb will require shaving down the snout and it will wear your S/C bearings out faster. From what I have seen a larger intercooler radiator is needed to see a real difference when you start really turning up the boost (upper and lower pulley).
As far as porting there is a recent poster in the "what did you do to your X308 today" thread that ported his supercharger and induction elbow. He has apparently seen some pretty significant results.

When I had my charger off my 03’ SV8 a couple of months ago, I decided to install a 1.5 billet pulley from Powerhouse, I still had to grind off the snout. I would personally go the 1.5 pulley. If you were dead set on the 2.5, then I would send the snout out to be professionally machined because there must be very little bearing/pulley supporting aluminum after it’s been machined for the 2.5. If you wanted more rotation from your charger without adding the 2.5 pulley and decided on the 1.5, then either go with a 4.2 SC harmonic balancer like I did or get an early XJR (AJ26S) harmonic balancer and get the billet oversized pulley from Powerhouse. I have read an article some years ago about having to install a 4.2 timing cover to accommodate the 4.2 balancer on a 4.0 engine. I had access to one but it wasn’t needed and deemed it another false piece of information floating around the forum. The 4.2 pulley fits with no issues on the stock 4.0 timing cover.

Addicted2boost, are happy with the power gain on the 1.5 pulley? Did you guys notice more whine? I'm thinking a ported supercharger and 1.5 pulley would suffice. I would prefer the 2.5 pulley, but I see people say you have to add an ice tank or meth. Because after a pull or two, it makes too much heat.

I can hear a little bit more of the charger. Somebody along the way had jacked up (not lifted up) the car though. It has a really bad air filter setup and a ‘true dual’ exhaust guaranteed to make less power than stock. I’ll post said exhaust pix since it’ll be on a lift in a few hours. I can’t give an exact comparison because I did several changes and have only put 150 miles on the car since I first got it. Just comparing it to my 98’ R though, I can feel more midrange power from the 2 pulleys.
I’m basically following Waterdragon’s method with the exception of the TB. 😡 Can’t get a bored TB so I can’t take it as far as I want to. Here’s what I’m working on today. I’m just in the beginning phase of firmament. It won’t be fully installed until I can work out the full load breather attachment on the carbon fiber tube.

As far as I know it gives a tiny extra bit of boost. Did it on a friend’s lightning and the little old eaton went wheeeeeee, then he got it ported and it sounded more like WHEEEEEEE.
Stiggy used to offer that free of charge, no idea about these days.

You already have the slip control - the "Traction Control". Instead of the LSD braking the wheel that intends to spin, the Traction Control does it via the rear brakes producing the same effect as the LSD. I prefer the Traction Control as it only brakes the wheel when it is about to lose traction and start spinning and the LSD does the braking all the time as soon as one wheel turns slower than the other even if it is not going to spin. This LSD breaking action robs some of the power delivered to the rear wheels whenever going through a turn and the Traction Control does not.
