Default 130k 99VDP, change spark plugs or not...

Last time I went in for a "scheduled" maintenance at Jag dealer was at 60k, and that cost me ~$400.... I think they cleaned the throttle body as an added option, but that's about it. Does the regular maintenance include spark plug changes? In not, should I do it. Also, what's the best place to get new plugs, and what kind? Thanks!

The factory plug change interval is 100k mile. The original plugs are iridium and can cost from $8 to $20 each depending on brand and source.

Some replace them with platinum that have half the life and half, or less, the cost.

If you are going to change them yourself, your choice.

If you are going to pay the bucks to have someone do it, I would suggest the iridium only because of the interval.

if you went in for a 60k at 60, you already need another air filter, fuel filter, and yes you should have changed plugs at 100k. when was the last time you flushed the brakes and coolant?

I've changed air fileter at least three times since then (last as recent as 4 months ago), change oil (Mobil 1), and filter every 10k. Had coolant flushed at about 80k. I guess it's time. Brake fluid, not since I had the car (45k)....
Had the car since 2005, and its a norm for me to put 1k/month on it just going to and back from work... My average milage is still displaying at ~19.5MPG. Last year it was at about 20.5MPG, over the same time and route.
PS
HAd a tranny die on me in Nov 09, and I had a rebuilt put in ($2800).
Solid car other than that. I'm thinking of changing my VC seals, as they're leaking, and check the tensioners while I'm at it... Hoping for the best.
