If you are interested there is a 98 jaguar xj8. Black with tan interior. Engine blown due to chain tensioners. Don't know what else mechanically but the body and interior look to be in great shape.
I dropped mine off for an oil change, looked it over and inquired about it.
Also have a good Jaguar guy in Wayne IL, BeeBe and sons Auto- one or two man shop, he used to work on my 90. Seems to have a Jaguar or Mecedes around most of the time.
Anyway, when I asked he said the junk yard wanted about 3500 for a motor...kinda high for an unkown so the owner adandoned it there it seems. Not sure how long it'll be around but I've seen it there for about a month.
Let me know if interested, no idea what he'd want if anything. I'll ask tomorrow and update you all.

Update:
Okay, looks like the bank owns it, lady stiffed him for the repairs and said the bank will be calling you.
He is/has been parting it out. Trans and ABS module gone, recapturing his money.
He says he'll never get a title for it due to the bank and some divorce situation, it's has been sitting there for 2 years...
SO that is the story.

WOW that is not good news. I had a customer that left a 1983 XJ6 for repair so I put together an estimate and tried to contact her for authorization. I could not contact her so I called family/people that knew her and was informed that she had passed away. Nobody wanted the old XJ6 so I scrapped the car. It seems a waste but it is what it is!! Without a valid owership, you risk losing title to the property and who wants to spend money on a car with someone else waiting to claim it!!!
