Locate the schreader valve on the front of the engine for the fuel system. Once you have found it have some have some one turn the key to the run not start position. With a rag over the valve press it in and see if you have fuel pressure. Should get a healthy burst. Turning the key to the run position operates the fuel pump for about five seconds to charge the fuel lines.
If you get fuel then, get in and press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold it their. Crank the engine with the pedal on the floor about 4 or 5 times for 10 to 15 seconds. Then while still holding the pedal on the floor crank the engine to start and slowly let up on the pedal. If you have a mild case of bore wash it should start up. If it doesn't you will need to pull the plugs and run a compression check of the cylinders. With the plugs out you can squirt a little oil in each cylinder before reinstalling the plugs.
For more info do a forum search for bore wash. It is a good place to start.
Report back and let us know how you fare.
