Default 1999 Jaguar XJR over heating

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and a bit desperate now. I have a 1999 Jaguar xjr that has been sitting for 10 years. I cleaned it, changed fluids, and thought all was well. I tried to drive it and it has been over heating non stop. 246 f.

I did a coolant flush, nothing.
I changed the thermostat and radiators. Nothing.
Fans are working, everything is getting hot. It gets to 246 f for no reason.

It keeps dumping coolant when it reaches a high temp.
There is pressure in the system. The system is purged.

I have no clue what is going on, but i want and need to get this fixed soon!

It seems like the engine and coolant is getting hot but it is not circulating through the radiator or something?? I honestly don't know what to do now.

If anyone has any ideas or needs more information, please ask.
Thanks

combustion test to rule out head gasket. water pump might still be the original with a disintegrated impeller

If I recall correctly, the two small coolant lines from the pressure tank should cross, the same as the XJ8. A common cause of overheating after service.

Check the temperature of the top and bottom radiator hose, there should be 10c difference, with the engine at operating temperature and the fans running. That will eliminate things like blocked rad and broken impeller. Then check for blown head gasket. I had to replace mine; it seems they corrode over time, and eventually let go.

I second xalty's comment about the water pump. There are two critical ones on an XJR; the belt-driven engine pump and the electric pump for the intercoolers. Are you sure that those are even working after sitting for 10 years?
