1999 Vanden Plas won't start
Hi Everyone,
This is my first post. I inherited a 1999 Vanden Plas. It won't start, the battery is strong and new, the engine cranks strong but will not actually start. Also there are no trouble lights it just cranks but wont start. Before that it would stall while driving on rare occasions, but putting it in park and restarting it would work, now nothing. Please help, I love the car and want to get it going for as little $ as possible.
Thanks,
Paul

Hey paultson, welcome to the forums...here's the first link to put in your favorites... JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource
This one is at the top end of this forum as a Sticky... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...k-links-20090/ ..both will be very helpful for future assistance.
For present tense, check this thread out... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ain-tb-187696/ ...we are still awaiting a response from that owner.
As for your vehicle, is it a NA or SC model? Putting your vehicle info in your signature is a quick reference for other members responding and will save you having to write it in each thread you post.
Hopefully we can save you those $$$$$$, as we all don't want to spend more than we have to....after all it cuts into the beer and/or honey money.
Have you checked the fuel pressure?
