1999 XJR pulley harmonic balancer needs replace. Options?
I just bought an xjr and got the seller to discount the price further than he wanted because I found the main drive belt was shredded on the outside (towards front of car) and was making noise on start up. First it sounding like knocking then completely went away. The biggest pulley (harmonic balancer) was wobbling. What is the best option, repair, replace, or are there any after market options available? The OEM part seems like the most expensive pulley I've ever seen

As of this moment, I'd be even more concerned about the bolt that's holding it on. If you can get a part number, I'd try to do a nation wide used parts search or even eBay. When you do get to the point of replacement, I'd replace the front main oil seal and the super thin o ring that fits inside of the harmonic balancer.
