how does everybody do the classic/2nd car insurance thing?

morning all.

I've got a little clio 172 and about to collect a w123 230e saloon. Aiming at 4000 miles in each per year. What/how best to insure them for the daily commute/weekend thing?

I use heacockclassic.com for one of my cars. They will only insure my XJ for 3000 annual miles and I drive it more than that, so have to use regular insurance at twice the price. Blah.
