More than likely, no. The new components may have just increased pressure on already weakening components. For example, a couple of years ago something like this happen on my GMC Jimmy. It was the week of Twilight Camp for my son in Cub Scouts. The first evening we went to camp, the water pump went out. After our return, stayed up late in the evening installing new pump. Went to camp the next evening and the radiator hose gave up the ghost. Changed that evening. The following evening a crack appeared in the radiator. Final component to fail. No fun, but no fault besides aging components with new pressure because other parts where replaced.
