2000 XJ8L - Steering wheel Audio Control

2000 XJ8L - Steering wheel Audio Control

The remote audio controls on the steering wheel start working only after a certain period of time (15 to 30 minutes) driving. Definitely very weird! Anybody can explain why is this and how to fix it? Thanks.
