I'm curious at what HP figure would I need to swap to a stronger rear end?
I'm fine with the 3.07 ratio, so would the easiest and cheapest thing to do is call these guys: Applications Page buy their LSD in the same 3.07 ratio then have a local shop swap in the lsd of the same ratio?
If I use the same ratio, no ecu programming is required, correct?
Would just swapping to the LSD give any increased strength? or at some point would I need to do something more to prevent grenading the rear end?
I'm thinking about this because I may want to try full racing slicks at the track and they have a way of finding the weak spots of any drive line. I though it cheaper to prevent a broken part than fix one.
Also, any recommendations for stronger u-joints?
