Hey guys taking out my supercharger out of my car the coupler is going bad.I got the supercharger loose but no luck pulling it out I don't know if there are metal dowels on the back or do i have to take my throttle body out of the way. Hey if you guys know anyone in the jag forum that may have an idea please throw me thread need all the help i can get.thanks

There are dowels. I've disconnected the throttle elbow and bypass valve, also got the throttle body away too, basically you have to get a bit of stuff clear to remove it. You also have to take the thermostat housing off and pull the hoses down to get it clear and out. It's worthwhile doing this as the egr valve on the back of the elbow is usually full of gunk and the TB would benefit from a cleanup also.
Are replacing the coupler and bearings? If you strip the nose off first, make sure you grease the needle bearings with some hi temp grease - another thing, if the paint is flaking on the rotors, you can strip the rest off without loss of performance, I polished mine after porting it. Hope that helps a little, it's not an easy job. takes me a day of plodding to get it out and back in.
