2001 Jaguar XJ8 front ABS sensors error

Getting front sensor error messages. Have installed three sets of front New abs sensors still get ASC NOT AVAILABLE TRAC NOT AVAILABLE error messages. I have cleaned the connections at both ABS front sensors, at the connections from the wires to the connections to the wiring harnesses. Have checked all the fuses in the vehicles. Have checked every relay in the vehicle. Have the ABS module rebuilt for other reasons I was getting the errors before along with other errors for the module failure. Was still getting the ABS ASC and Trac errors before the module repair. The OBD2 checks say is the two front sensors.
I cannot figure out the problem. I have used the dialogic grease, I have also removed the dialectic grease to see if that caused a problem from the wiring harness and the sensors the error codes are still present. I am out of ideas.

You need to disconnect the main electrical connector from the abs module. Please pardon the chicken scratch writing. Pins 3 & 4 of the main abs connector go to one front sensor as does pins 17 & 18 go to the other. I’m not 100% sure what the ohms should be but, they should be reading relatively close. You may even have to get the front wheels off the ground so you or an assistant could turn the wheels by the front and see what the resistance does on both sides. It’s also not entirely unheard of to remove the 2 ground wires next to that module and clean up the grounds. Everything works better with clean power and ground. Pin 8 to body ground and pin 24 to body ground should have less than 1 ohm of resistance assuming the meter and leads are in good shape. You’ll have to use a mirror as I believe you can tell which pins to ohm test the connector by identifying the pin location inside the module where the male pins are at. If the continuity test passes and the ground wires are cleaned up, it is likely that the abs module needs replacement even though yours was rebuilt.

I have never needed to replace a wheel speed sensor unless the sensor was damaged by a faulty wheel bearing or broken during removal.
I replace wheel speed link harnesses on a regular basis.
I also have several ABS modules with PERMANENT C1145 or C1155 DTCs that cannot be cleared even when the module is installed in a car with NO FAULTS.
The modules can fail internally with a HARD FAULT. I just throw the failed modules on the scrap heap and get a good-used replacement.
