Hi everyone. I have a a 2001 XJR supercharged machine with a no start condition. The vehicle cranks over wonderfully. I do not smell any fuel from the exhaust even when i mash the pedal down. I have checked all fuses in the engine compartment drivers side heel board and the trunk. I also tested all relays with 9 volt battery and the all check out ok. I'm not getting any codes. The car set for a long time between running. Since this is the supercharged model I'm assuming it has 2 fuel pumps. Should I hear any noise from them when trying to turn ignition on? Is there an easy port I can open up to see fuel coming out before it enters the fuel rail? Are there any other relays or hidden fuses I have not seen you could direct me too. From what I have read there is no simple way to check the fuel pumps. Thanks for your help. I did put a$1500.00 mac scout scanner on it and the scanner did not recognize the vin. I probably do not know how to operate it correctly so apologies in advance.
thanks
Gary

Use a smart phone with the Torque app to communicate with the vehicle PCM through the OBD port with a Bluetooth interface to monitor fuel system.
With the ignition in the on position, prior to engaging the starter motor, fuel pressure should be around 3 bar. If not, the fuel pump has likely seized and must be replaced. If there is fuel pressure present, but drops off when the starter motor is engaged, the CKP may be faulty and not sending a signal to the PCM that the crankshaft is rotating. Without input from the CKP, the PCM shuts off the fuel pump.
