since fall of 2011. They will likely have that car for a looonng time.

LOL! that first one is not a Browns Lane liner! (More Huggy Bear Lo Rider trim shop).
"HAS CUSTOM BLACK SUADE HEADLINER AND VISORS" - the dead give away is the roof console, left untrimmed...
The second one is, and it's Nimbus. Hope that clears it up, thanks Ian
This one looks honest..

Jaguar World has a great driven article of the 100 this month October edition for anyone interested.

Sean, that one you linked to looks like a great one (no window
tint, seats look gently worn, etc) but the cheap Falken rubber
may be a sign of an apathetic/non-enthusiast owner.
The link is great! Loved it! So recent, it makes me feel like we
aren't dealing with centuries old motoring
Jaguar XJR 100 - Forbes.com
Here's one you might not have seen.
Huggy Bear!!! LOL sounds like the kind of comment Stu Rimmer
would make. Hilarious, and probably correct. I just remembered
thinking the XJR-100 had a suede headliner. Is the nimbus
material suede? If not, my XJ Sport was in need of a headliner,
I replaced with OEM-style nimbus, almost exactly identical to
factory. My Jaguar specialist "made it so".
The XJR has an awful puffy, furry aftermarket headlining material
fitted, so I actually snapped off a sunroof bracket upon using its slide
function. 'Doh! And I couldn't find the bracket even though I pulled
over immediately :|.

I've heard nothing but good things about Falken boots. Maybe not your Big 3 but a great tyre for the money. Just avoid symmetric tread patterns as these cars tram line like a bugger with them.
Ian - No the 100 didn't have suede/Alcantara, it's the same as your sport, I don't know the name of the material, but it sounds like you might need to see your trimmer again and get the stuff he used on your XJR - Or buy some Alcantara and give it the suede look.
I'll try and scan the article and post it, that link is just the first paragraph and includes an error, I spotted 3 (the car featured sold the day before the article came out)
The trickiest job is the console, a job for a saint....it's all in the details

Just Purchased XJR-100
Hello All,
I am new to this forum. I have just purchased a 2002 XJR-100 with 30,000 miles on it. So I thought I would bounce an idea off of you all and see what the feedback is. It's a one owner low mileage car and I was considering modding it slightly with a ecu and supercharge pulley upgrade. It would put out an additional 70hp and give it a kick. Any thoughts/feedback?
Thanks,

Firstly it won't give you anywhere near 70bhp - if you doubt this go to a dyno shop, put the 100 on it, go get the mods, put the 100 back on the same dyno and you'll be lucky to see a 10% increase on the original pulls, stock = 370bhp, crank pulley is + 10% = 400bhp approx.
The ecm tune - this is interesting because my car is Paramount tuned, they developed the only known re-map for the 4.0lt SC engines, they no longer offer it because sometimes didn't take the reflash and not a reliable reflash at that, they dropped offering it. The 4.2 is far more tunable.
Me, I'd consider just the crank pulley and belt combo and leave the re-flash as generic tunes are usually fuel dumps at rpm, no real gains unless combined with dyno and live programming, and for that expect big bucks, but no 70bhp.
You want big gains, talk to Avos a member on here who developed a twin screw SC kit. Personally would not mess with a low miles potential collector version of this model, I considered it with mine, but decided against. The values will eventually go up, the more original/bone stock ones a more valuable in any way you cut it.

Either way, you are not going to get 70hp. At the most 15 to 35 depending on which pulley.
You also have to be careful when talking about extra hp, are we talking about maximum hp or at a given rpms?
99% of tuners or aftermarkets parts inflate their numbers and quite a few don't mention that it's not max hp but rather at a given rpm's

Hi Guy's and Sean specifically,
I think I got the shop's name from one of your posts actually, or at least a thread you were on I recognize your signature. It's Eurotek Designs. This guy Phil(the owner) claims that by tuning the ecu Ill get a 30hp gain, see below:
JAGUAR OEM RATINGS OEM RATINGS
XK8/XJ8 4.0Liter 290hp@6100RPM 279lbs@4250RPM
XJR/XKR 4.0 K 370hp@6150RPM 387lbs@3600RPM
XKR 4.2 Liter 390hp@6150RPM 400lbs@3500RPM
4.2 XJR 390hp@6150RPM 400lbs@3500RPM
S Type R 400hp@6100RPM 408lbs@3500RPM
5.0 Liters In Development
JAGUAR ECU TUNED ECU TUNED
XK8/XJ8 4.0Liter 325hp@3200RPM 300lbs@4100RPM
XJR/XKR 4.0 K 400hp@6100RPM 429lbs@3500RPM
XKR 4.2 Liter 425hp@6100RPM 479lbs@3300RPM
4.2 XJR 425hp@6100RPM 479lbs@3300RPM
S Type R 435hp@5900RPM 488lbs@3300RPM
Then by changing out the upper and lower pulley's realize the 40 more hp. Now I'm no expert so that's why I'm here. He is also doing something to the Harmonic Balancer, but that's beyond me. As far as the question of stock vs. not it will not be obvious to an onlooker the changes made and can be reverted if desired.
