2002 xjr engine swap won't run
Hello, just swapped a 2002 xjr block with a 1999 block, changed the heads and all assy's. Got it back together and wouldn't start, checked fuel the filter was plugged. Replaced
the filter, car ran for a few min on the stands, put the wheel back on and put car on the ground and it wouldn't stay started. Back up on the stands, pulled fuel line off the filter and
almost no fuel coming out. replaced both pumps. Still not running! Rented a fuel pressure guage
did more testing, on maf I have 5v on next to last pin no 12v or ground I cannot find diagram for this car anyone
knows where I might get wiring diagram? thanks

ok still working on this car. the 2002 block was trash took a 1999 block and put it in the car changing all the engine sensors, just using the block and the crank, rods and pistons. car wouldn't start (keep running) so I replaced the fuel filter. car ran for a few min. took off jacks. car wouldn't start again same issue. I then replaced the fuel pumps. still same issue. checked fuel pressure 40psi. I then took
to local mechanic, at first said key wasn't programed. next said the crank sensor was too far from the flex plate. next cam sensor. in the end he said he put a external fuel source and had the car running
for several min but couldn't get it to run again. his fix was "take it to the dealer" nearest dealer is 150 miles away and at almost $200.00 an hour service charges that will be quite expensive.
both times the car ran it ran very well all seemed good.
anyone have any ideas????
