Nice looking car. By 2003 they had finally fixed everything on the car (the next year they released the X350 and started with a new set of problems).
I would hope that the car has good service history, as a low mileage car thats been lying around and not driven can be problematic.
The main problem is the price..... it's as high as it could be. I have recently moved from an X308 (XJR) to a X350 (Super V8 Portfolio) and although I absolutely loved my XJR, I couldn't go back to an X308 after having the X350. You can get yourself 2004/5 X350 XJRs for 15k, albeit at higher mileages.
Also for that money you may be able to get an XJR100 (assuming you can find one)
If it's as perfect as it looks though, it would be pretty tough to go see it then walk away !!

Prices now headed UP
Many consider the 2003 x308 XJR as the pinnacle of the XJ series and the last of a breed.........
The last of the "low slung" absolutely gorgeous body styles...."rocket ship" class performance cloaked in a 4 door luxury sedan
All the "bugs" gone
Low mileage examples disappearing faster than ever with this year/model rarity skyrocketing ( Do a National search for a 2003 XJR x308 with under 50,000 miles and see what you find......if any) There were only 15,000 x308 XJR's produced for the entire planet from 1997 to mid 2002 (for the 2003 model year ). So the question becomes..."How many are left now and in what condition and mileage ?
If you are one of the fortunate few that owns one of these beasties, I would hang on to it for the years ahead as the value of this particular Jaguar has now no where to go but up.

Even with 36,000 miles. Be ready to shell out $$ to replace air shocks. You will find out these shocks don't weathered well in colder climate State like Colorado. I bought a 2004 XJ8 with 30k miles and front shocks had to be replaced along with end links and other suspension links.
