Default Its Alive

Thanks to all of you I replaced the two front shock towers, pulled the intake manifold, replaced the therm tower with an aluminum one With a red top (this original one was the source of the leak into the knock sensors pigtails), put in a new Thermostat and crossover pipe, replaced all heater and radiator hoses, replaced all manifold hoses, replaced three way connector, replaced both knock sensors, replaced manifold to booster vacuum line connector at the manifold, replaced air filter, Used all new gaskets on everything, put in a new battery, degreased engine bay and detailed it, fully cleaned throttle body from carbon build up, and put on a new wiper blade, and filled with new coolant.

Total cost about $550 including a set of Torx and other specialty sockets, and various cleaners. Total work time about 18 hours actual wrench and cleaning time.

Turned key on to let fuel pump cycle on/off a few times since system was drained at engine, hooked up code reader and cleared codes. Turned it all off, held my breath and turned the key all the way. It cranked for about 2-3 seconds and fired right up and ran smooth without issue.

checked for leaks and none. Tigjtened radiator reservoir tank fully and brought up to full operating temp and still no leaks. Took for a 2 mile drive and rechecked everything and no issues. Took for a 30 mile drive and ran like glass. Rechecked every connection and no leaks!!!!!! I’m so thrilled.

Now to address the all of a sudden no A/C issue. Can someone tell me where its fuses are?

Thanks again and again and again!!!!

I hear you about that first start, I always procrastinate. Anyways the AC fuses and relays I know of are:

Engine Compartment Fuse Box (left side, larger box):

#15, 10amp, A/C coolant pump. (fuse)

Relay #1 - AC coolant pump (rightmost relay at the bottom of the upside down relay T shape)

Engine Management Fuse Box (smaller box also on left side):

#8, 10amp, compressor clutch (fuse)

#14, 10amp, compressor clutch relay (fuse)

Heelboard Fuse Box- Right Side (under rear seat)

#6, 10amp, simply labeled "Air Conditioning" (fuse)

#11, 20amp, AC right hand blower motor (fuse)

Relay #2, right hand blower

Relay #5, left hand blower

Heelboard Fuse Box- Left Side

#11, 20amp, AC left hand blower motor (fuse)

#12, 10amp, AC blower motor relays (fuse)

ECM box - under the plastic tool tray cubby on the right side of the engine, remove panel and undo four screws to access.

Relay #6 - AC compressor clutch, Relay closest to the engine.

If you downloaded the PDF shop manual all this info and diagrams are found under 418-00 Module Communications Network starting on page 1973
