2003 VDP supercharged needs new struts
HI
The 2003 VDP Supercharged car needs new struts, new radio, and a new headliner. As far as repairs what am I looking at?
Or could it be the shocks making that noise?
Can you recommend anyone in Los Angeles that could do it?
The car has less the 50k original miles
Thank you

Front suspension noise is most likely upper shock mounts: price has come way down in last five years, even for the CAT suspension. Headliner can be temporarily fixed with 6mm staples, depending on how much sag. Radios are easily repaired (not the CD player tho). How many miles, what kind of maintenance records are there, does it drive well, tires . . . HOW MUCH?

IMPO...yes, these are nice cars, but I haven't heard the term "collector car" used on them. A XJR 100 may be worth it, but I wouldn't say a regular 03 XJR VDP.
It better look as good, but better than mine and mines a 2000. Plus I have the HGG paint scheme, which is a special order blue pearl underlay with emerald green metal flake cover. You'll see on the fenders a purplish hue, it really stands out at dusk....its so sexy.
Excuse me, car **** does that to me.
Just after having done chains and tensioners in 2015
Nice long lines.....mmmmmuah!

Thanks....
Heck, maybe I could add to mine that "limited" category ...according to the VIN, its not a SC car. I've been confronted by others before (to include Jagbits) about it not being SC, with me stating "...I'll send you pics if you like". I literally went through it this last weekend with my local dealer ordering parts (exhaust tips). Its my understanding that for the 2000 MY, the SC was a special order, I have not had that verified. I do know when I first acquired her back in '04 and was parts hunting, the SC moniker never appeared in listings. It wasn't until around 2009-10 I started seeing it.
That settles it, mines worth $2k more now.

High Horse: Your comment about the VIN and a SC car strikes a chord on my '03 VDP. I went back and forth with the front guy at a local place i sometimes use when he kept insisting my VIN was coming up in the WorldPac search system as a SC model for brakes. There's still a bit of confusion out there. I have enough trouble with 290hp, let alone 390!
