Hi- I am new to Jaguars, but I hope to be enjoying the experience soon.
I recently acquired a 2003 X308 that belonged to an elderly relative and unfortunately sat unused for several years. It has 18,000 miles. This is a fantastic car and I can’t wait to be driving it, but right now I am bedeviled by three OBD monitor issues that keep it from passing Texas inspection:
Comprehensive Components, Catalyst Efficiency, Evaporative System
They register “Not Ready”, even after driving 300 miles, as recommended to reset the monitors.
I would appreciate any information that might help clear these monitors. In Texas, I need to clear at least two in order to pass.
Thanks. I look forward to meeting other Jaguar enthusiasts here.

It would be useful if you provided the exact codes from the OBD monitoring system. Can we assume the car starts and runs? Even runs well? Start by cleaning the MAF sensor; cleaning the throttle bore and plate; make sure the air tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body is tight; and the gas cap is clean and tight when closed.
