Hi, could someone please describe what it included in this 'package'? From what I can tell, the XJ8 LP comes with a wood s/w and shift knob. What else? Does it perhaps include the superior Connolly Autolux leather and lambswool rugs? Let me know, thanks!

 

my Vanden plas came with lambswool rugs..not sure what kind of leather the seats are, but they are different. And i have the picnic trays attached to the back seat and there is a button on the back of the passengers seat where the rear passenger can make the front seat move...no clue why thats there..

 

I believe it is possibly the same thing as my parents sovereign package. Wood s/w and shift knobs, box wood inlays in wood door panels and passenger airbag ala vdp, chrome grill and mirror caps, premium stereo, heated rear seats, and my theory is vdp shocks because it is really smooth. From what i can tell no autolux leather ( doesnt have front bottom pockets), and no lambswool mats.

Seems quite possible that the North American version of the Sovereign is referred to as the "Luxury Package". Although, I think the grill is still different than that on the VDP and I'd be surprised if it had the VDP shocks.

i could take pics of my car tomorrow and you guys can see what i have..didnt know it was more than the usual xj8's, but my seats do have front useless pockets and im pretty sure rear heated seats

 

The US sovereign package has chrome grill vanes instead of the black painted one. It does still have the plain chrome grill surrounded instead of fluted as on the vdp, same on rear trunk lid.

 

my 03XJ8 is white with the Sovereign Package and it is as described above by hrand1987. I bought my car 4 1/2 years ago with 11K on it and now have 79k with zero issues. The best Jag by far I have ever owned, still own two and sold the other three
