2003 XJR Replacement Seat Leather?

Hello everybody, I just got off the phone with my local Jaguar dealer. They will sell replacement seat leather for the driver's seat for a whopping $2262. I have a 2.5-3" tear in my driver's seat right behind where someone's shoulder would be.
Can anybody recommend a third party website or maybe even a leather specialist that can replace the leather cover?
Or does anyone know of an X308 XJ being parted out that still has the leather driver's seat in black?
Many thanks,
Matt

I agree.
Have a shop sew in a new panel.
Or, you could have a mobile upholstery repair company come to you and fix it.
It is amazing at how good some of these mobile leather guys are!
Here is a local shop I think I am going to have fix a 2" cut in my back seat lower cushion.
You should have similar companies close to you.
Take a look at the our work section.

I have a full set of Black leather skins from an XJR 2001 (USA 2002) from a low miles car.
Shipping would be the dealer breaker I would guess it's expensive to post from UK.
Make me an offer. To swap the skins you'll need Hog rings and Hog ring pliers, and a good set of side cutters/snips to cut the old rings. A T50? torx bit to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat(s) to the floor pan. A relativity easy job.

Hi Sean B and luc, I'm interested in both of your offers. Would you mind taking pictures and posting them here for me to examine?
luc: I'm not sure what the name of the color of the leather is in my XJR but it does seem to be a warm charcoal color. Either the leather was black originally and time/sun faded it to a warm charcoal or dark grey OR the leather was originally warm charcoal colored.
Thanks everybody for the pertinent suggestions!

Thanks everybody for the replies. My interior is indeed made from the Warm Charcoal leather (trim code: LEG). PMs sent to relevant recipients.
