303-536 engine lifting brackets
Does anyone have a pair of the 303-536 engine lifting brackets they'd be willing to loan or sell? Can't seem to find them for sale at what would appear any reasonable price.
Presumably this could be home made by anyone with some steel sheet and the appropriate dimensions... I don't have the equipment to cut steel.
That said... wondering whether people just made do with a generic threaded eyelet instead? Any reason not to go that route?

Cutlass was fun. 330 V8 was a little tired. Was thinking of engine swap for more horsepower but ended up selling to fund my Cobra build.

Jeremy not sure this will help you but the Foundations tool loan sends these out frequently. You are a bit far away to make a loan reasonable. If you are searching for the tool you might consider using the legacy number for the tool-----JD222. You are using the global number (read Ford). These are very heavy duty lifts. Perhaps these pics will help.

I did this as well when pulling engine/trans as one unit from my 2000 XJR. In fact, to get the angle i needed to lift it out, I used the typical Harbor Freight style adjustable, block, with longer chains on the back by the manifolds to help tilt it. Plenty strong and zero issues. Used same approach putting LS3/6L80E in as one unit too.
