Need to replace my seats in a 98 X308 and have an opportunity to buy the seats from a 97 X308. Can anyone tell me if they are identical?

front might be , not sure about rear have both and look the same to me except the pattern(beading)

 

The seats them selves should physically fit nut you may have problems
with connections as they are two completely different wiring systems.

You want to install X308 seats in an X308???? (same thing)

I have no idea where you are (What continent??) so you could have access to a Europe 1997 MY X308??
or you might mean that you have a 1998 X308 and you want to install 1997 X300 seats?????

Wow I guess I got told. As I said I have a 98 X308 with Oatmeal color (ADG) seats that someone was kind enough to cut up. I have/had an opportunity to buy the seats of the same color from a 97. Would the seats match was my question. I live in Nova Scotia if that makes a difference. Based on the above comments I have decided that I would continue looking for seat covers from a 98 as I would like to keep everything authentic if I can. If anyone has a source or suggestion please send it along.
