Default 98-00 front wheel hub n bearing...

I am trying to change bearings and switch out hubs on my 2000xj8 I got a front hub off a 98xj8...I got the wheel bearing for the 2000 but it seems to b to big to fit in the 98 hub...the 98 is press in...does anyone have any info...help! My front end is tilting bad

There was a thread a couple of weeks ago about a model year break where they increased the size of the bearing. You probably hit that.

Yes it's a bitch to replace and it's always the driver side too! 98 had one size wheel bearing and the years after are different.

Mines on my passenger side...is the 98 press in to?
