Hey guyz, I wanted to know some of your thoughts on an after market exhaust for my xjr, i have 98 xjr and was looking at some exhaust systems on the xp site. Is the Mina Gallery setup good? I don't want anything too loud, i just want to hear the exhaust. Anyone have any sound clips of the mina gallery or the borla?

 

I had the Mina Gallery first. My Thoughts on Mina: Very nice looking but no different than stock. I now have the Borla. Much better sound and performance. Aggressive but classy at the same time! Go with the Borla.

 

For the price of most Jaguar exhausts you can just get a custom job from the manifolds back. On my 99 XJR I had a full 2-1/2" exhaust put on deleted the rear mufflers on each side and then swapped the front two for some Mustang Maganflow mufflers. I kept the one piece resonator portion. $900 for the whole thing and it was quiet but sounded like a 6cyl porsche when I got on it. I also got ride of one of the 90 degree angles that come off the manifold to the piping. Reduce back pressure and reduce heat from the heaton. You will lose some boost # but the car will be much more consistant once you upgrade the pulley/pulleys.
