I had bought a new thermostat housing and it appears the line going from coolant reservoir to the housing has a different connection than my old housing anyone know a way around this?

Red is stock connector
Green is one I just purchased

 

That looks like an early XKR thermostat housing? Or maybe a 4.2 housing. Looks like you’ll just have to get some bulk hose for it now. I know the tip of that plastic junction is broken.

 

There seem to be two different bleed hoses.
TO VIN F45010 and
FROM VIN F45011

There are superseded water outlet pipes so when you mix and match, things like this happen.

 

Ah ok I couldn’t tell if it was supposed to look like that I’ll be purchasing a new line for it thank you.
But in the mean time I just replace the whole line with hose?
