99xj8 not sure if I have a problem with u joint
For a year now I have had issues and so has my car When I step on the gas at a stop the car will hesitation/jerk forward. If I let off the gas while driving and hit the gas there is a funny feeling in the rear of the car. When driving on the freeway the car seems to have a mind of its own. There rear seems to want to go to the side, I am also correcting. Also, if I turn the ignition quickly several times without starting. I get a stablization and transmission message. Thanks for whatever help you might be able to give.

I really don't know, but from what you describe it most certainly does not sound like a UJ to me.
When they go bad, they tend to clonk as the slack gets taken up, then drive OK until the next time you induce slack.
Or if on a directional drive shaft (not the case on your Jag) they clonk, clonk, clonk when changing direction.
What you are describing sounds more like a suspension issue to me.
Others will chime in.

Holy crap, still, it happens. What was the cause of the crash, car fail or driver fail?
I guess that they will be putting that right together with whatever else was originally wrong, plus any other blemishes as well.
Unless of course they happen to have an XJR they want to swap you.
Like you say no one hurt, that's the main thing.
Best of luck.

Always keep an eye on your tires. I have felt the swaying motion on freeway ramps and when I check the tires, I find that the tread is seperating. I have seen this too often these days. It usually shows up on the inside of the tire first. Use a rag and drag it around the area where the tread meets the sidewall. The steel belt strands sticking out will make you a believer in using a rag.

Thanks, I did go to the tire dealer 2X's to have them see if that was the problem. They keep saying the tires are okay. While Jaguar has my car for the damage they did to it. I will have them take a look also. They are keeping my car for 3 weeks to repair all the body damage that was done on the test drive

As you have just received the car back, it may be smarter to take it back and say "look, this is how you returned the car to me. what's happening?"
Otherwise, if it is related to the "road test", you'll never get it covered after time passes.
Fluid level is checked using a special dipstick tool. The dealer has one, or you can buy it from ebay. They may check your fluid level for you without charge just to be able to say it's not their problem.

I was having issues with the car when I took it in. Because there were no error codes they wouldn't do anything. I fact one service tech guessing said it was the throttle body. Though told me to bring it back when it was acting up. So I did. They still couldn't find anyting no codes. i looked on ebay couldn't find what you are talking about.

There is no dipstick.
The fluid level is checked like alot of gearboxes of late manufacture.
Here is a TSB of the procedure.
You can use a non-contact thermometer (the kind you point and shoot) to get a close idea of the trans fluid temp instead of the PDU,WDS,IDS etc.
Could also be a clogged ATF filter or a failed/failing 'A'drum or valve body fault??
Here are some diagnostic TSBs
