Default ABS module removal

Try as I may but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the dreaded abs. What tools did you use to get those 4 screws out? I need to take it out to solder and get rid of the trac /abs warning in the dash.Hope everyone in America is having a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I know the tools but it's so tight and I know there's a way unlike this video where he took off those bolts and bleed the brakes. I need to take off just the module. Someone in this site who used a special tool that's a 45 degree angle and a tiny socket. I can't seem to find it.

if the bolts are tight try some wd-40 or penetrating fluid and wait 20 mins then try it or overnight.

Just completed this so thought I would share what I found to make the removal of those torx screws much easier.

As others have noted, a standard E5 socket is difficult to fit between the module and the frame, especially for the lower screws.

Fortunately SnapOn sells a low-profile E5.

Place this in an 11mm gearwrench and you are good to go ....

thanks Amphicar, I have been looking for this tool a long time ago and I even tried all the idiots at Pep Boys they can't find any tool narrow enough. I'll keep this in mind. I got to remove my abs module with a lot of twisting and fear that I might snap the metal tube out. But I got it off in the end, my abs is working fine now.
