Default ABS Module repair or replace?

I took off the LNF2210AB ABS module to do the usual solder fix.
One of the blue tipped cylinders did not come off and is stuck on the ABS pump unit.
Will the module repair shops fix this sort of thing or am I looking at a replacement unit?
Can I drive the car without the ABS module? Will it trigger some code that I cannot erase?

Thanks again,

Dan

try to pry it off and put it back on the module as gently as possible.and send it off, there's a service for it on ebay that they only charge 55 dollars. quick turn around. saves you some money if they say it isnt fixable the refund you or offer a new one with a guarantee.

I got the solenoid off and have sent it and and the module off for repair. I contacted two of the ebay sites but they did not do solenoid repair.
Bled the brakes and the car is running around with brakes even if the dashboard is lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights.
You need to put at least 1 qt through the system before the brakes are bled properly. You know how I know.

on ebay they sell used working modules i think they are around 100 or more. but not nothing outrageous. search for sellers named eurochopshop, or landfilldismantling. im not sure if i spelled the second one right but ive seen they both with it.

This may also help http://www.bba-reman.com/catalogue/P...x?category=104

Thanks. Unfortunately, Gus describes only my originally intended soldering.

BBA cannot repair the solenoid and want quite a bit for a remanufactured one.

More info is needed before ordering or installing ABS modules.
There are 5 modules for 1997 to 2002 XK and 1998 to 2003 XJ depending on year and "except traction control" (5 pipe or 6 pipe) (6 valve or 9 valve)

LNFXXXXXXXX does not mean anything if you are trying to use JEPC to get the correct part number.

These are your choices

JLM20555
JLM20556
JLM20129
JLM20130
JLM21323

MAKE, MODEL, YEAR and 'with or without traction control' is needed to get the correct part!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had my unit rebuilt by ATE auto www.autoecu.com. Cost was $65 with shipping and may be cheaper on ebay. quick turnaround with warranty. I am very pleased to have a clear dash and my traction control and ABS back here in Minneapolis!

Default LNC vs LNF module

I have a defective LNC module and sent LNF from repair place as my unit was unrepairable. It seems this is not necessairly the #part#" to go by. Maybe just put it in and hope it works.
