Welcome - I don't know of any aftermarket - it's usually a case of Jaguar dealer for new or breakers yard for second hand. It's not a big market like Audi/BMW etc for stuff like headlights.

I have condensation on the interior of both headlight assemblies (2007 XJ8 L) and its bugging me.

Sigh.

$1200 per assembly.

Double sigh.

Thanks for the reply though.

Did you know you posted in the wrong section for your model?

Anyhow, anybody else would just remove the headlight assemblies, rinse, dry, and seal the point of moisture ingress. No need to buy new headlights unless there is something you haven't mentioned.

I didn't know I posted in the wrong area. Still trying to figure this out. :/

I would prefer to fix the headlights myself but can't find the thread for the information. Do you know how to take the assembly a part? Thanks.

You should not need to take them apart.

Take the headlight assembly out.

Thorougly flush the inside of the assembly out with warm water and dish soap for several minutes while holding your hand over any holes. Dump the water. Rinse with warm water. Let dry with lenses facing upwards.

Examine the mating edges between lenses and reflector. Seal any defects with clear RTV. Or, just seal all the way around anyways.

Re-install.

Willing to do all that --- how difficult is to remove the assembly. I'm not exactly the handiest person in the world.

Do you know of a link, or mind explaining details, of how this is to be done?

Thanks SO much.
