Default Alpine Head Unit Bluetooth help...

Hey,
I know this topic has been covered to death but I am a little lost and need a bit of help. I have a 2001 XJR with the alpine premium sound (CD Changer, Amp no Navigation). The plan with my set up is to install a Parrot MKi9000 that is capable of bluetooth streaming off of my phone.

My question is what is the best method of setting up a aux-in for the bluetooth streaming? I have seen differing information on other methods of obtaining this input regarding an AI-NET Switcher. When is is better to connect one to the back of the stereo vs in the trunk at the CD changer end? Some posts say that they have found AI-NET switchers needed to be modified and others just plug in and work, what would be the case for my XJR? What is the best switcher to purchase? I would like to steer clear of the CD changer hack as I still like to play a CD every now an again.

Thanks in advance guys/gals, I really want to get this project off the ground
