I have Motorola T-605. I got the vehicle harness adapter from www.nicestuffonline.com
Bluetooth comes through vehicle audio system. I like it

If I am reading their part sheet correctly, they make a Parrot adapter (which looks best for me, I have a Palm Treo 755p, and will probably continue to use smart phones, so going to a specific brand might not work out so well) for 80 bucks. Not too bad, they want 140 for one for my Durango.

Got to see about ordering.

Thanks for the info - appreciate that.

Oh, BTW - what should I do with the old Motorola Timeport in there?

I cant figure out from that website what I need to buy, is it possible to buy the wiring harness and the bluetooth device that can be completely hiddenand will allow my motorola razor to work completely thru the existing factory radio?
If so whatare the part numbers? I have a 2000 XJR.
Thanks
Ted

I will try and take pics this weekend. The motorola unit is not oversized like some. Nicestuffonline only provides really the harnesses. You wouldnhave to choose a Bluetooth system that best suits your needs. Professional installation is recommended.

a chance to take any pictures? Would love to see them. Also - any suggestions about taking the console apart? Usually there is some retaining tab that I break because I don't realize it is there.

What exactly do you want to change or take apart? This weekend I am taking mine apart because my j-gate lights are out.....as are dash bulbs. Need to get it taken care of. Let me know what you need and I will try to take pics as I go.

I am hoping to have the wiring harness from nicestuffonline to add the parrot bluetooth module to my xj. I believe it will mount in place of the factory wiring harness for the motorola phone.

Yes it will. Not sure about the parrot, but motorola plugs in and mutes radio on call and allows volume control from steering wheel.
