Anyone interested in Carbon Fiber interior parts?

Hydro-dipping with a carbon fibre pattern would probably
yield some similar results. Seeing as how the X308 has 18
pieces of wood, this would be extremely expensive to do at
$65-115 per piece. Not to mention the hassle of disassembling
an entire interior to remove it all.
Although the XKR was available with CF trim, I think the X308 's
wood panels would look much more inviting trimmed in the stuff.
Not just a big plank of slightly curved material like in the XK, more
shapely.
I'm interested to see how it looks, (the black carpets and dash would ensure
it looks great IMO) But the price is so high, given how I would probably choose
the wood if CF were a 0-cost option anyway...

To each his own. Black on black XJR with some kick a$$ (similar to stock, and NOT CHEESEY!) rims (staggered set up), blacked out chrome, would look "cool" with CB interior. My VDP with Ivory, looks AWESOME with wood, and I would NEVER change it.
Even my wife's Tabby (gray on black) could go for it, ....but not my Cat!
I visited a friend today, and he said: "Stick some LED lights on the markers, and the car would look 10 years younger." My reply: "Why in the hell I would want it to look "younger"!!? Do you know what classic automobile is all about?"
Went to a smog check yesterday, and the people were AMAZED at the results! The Cat runs CLEAN, and at 84K it's in PERFECT condition. Why would I want to change that?
