Default Anyone in UK with a photochromatic mirror for sale?

My rear view mirror is now doing a creditable simulation of a mountain range as the fluid has leaked, a common problem I understand from my indy garage.

Does anyone in the UK have a photochromatic mirror for an 98 X308 Sovereign in good condition they would like to sell?

You can get them repaired by Sybesmas. It's a common problem, that's been covered here many times

I just had mine done by Sybesmas. The cost was just about $100 including return shipping. Of course, the shipping would be more going abroad. But can i just say, my mirror now works AMAZINGLY well - like new. And I think they had it back to me in less than a week. This is a truly great little electronics company. Well done, them!

Thanks for the replies, I think that to ship the mirror to the US is a bit of a non-starter, I have bought one on Ebay for £60, say $100.

I'm in New Zealand, and still went through Sybesma's. As above, they were fantastic to deal with, turnaround time was great, I was only waiting a couple of weeks between sending my mirror off and getting the repaired one back.

They do a fantastic job too, and IMHO totally worth the slightly higher price, to end up with a unit that is like new, and will last for years to come.

I actually knew another person with a broken mirror at the same time, and we sent them both off together and saved on shipping. Have a chat to your local Jag clubs and garages, you might find someone else in the same boat
