Question asking for help x308

2000 xj8 119010 miles ,this is my wife's car she only drives about 50 miles a week around town. so problem with power steering it is stuck in highway mode tight steering when normal driving around town. so far I have changed power steering high pressure line due to small leak , then power steering pump ,then power steering rack, new tie rod ends so I am stuck as what to do next so any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance jrb53

If car has speed sensitive steering then there is module for it. I'd start from the basics being grounds, powers and fuses. If there is no electric connector on on the steering rack I'd suspect all rusty lower steering shaft U joint. It could be it with adaptive steering too. Mine is rusty and steering becomes angular and stiff unless I grease it in regular basis.
