Back Shocks 1998 X308

Hi all, good morning!
I have an intermittent fault in the suspension dept. in that the CATS system is flipping into its default (rock hard) mode.
I've been advised that first thing to check is the wiring connections to the shocks themselves.
Front ones are easy enough, but can anyone tell me how to access the tops of the rears? Back seat out maybe?
Thanks, Norm.

First course of action would be to have any codes read.
Unless you can access the wires in the boot/trunk behind the inner covers, you will have to remove the rear shocks.
But before you have to go to that extreme, try perusing a wiring diagram to see where the harness connectors are located.
You may be lucky and find them in an easy location but there is the end that actually coonects to top of shock and that would mean shock out.
