battery drain -- isolate alternator?
Hi. 2000 VDP here.
got a battery drain, no start after just a day or two. measured 800ma drain (quick check, not over any shutdown time span).
reading, suspecting alternator diodes (getting progressively worse).
Is there a fuse or relay I can pull that would electricaly disconnect the alternator/regulator? Just looking for easier than getting under and trying to unplug.
No, I have not checked running voltage, yet. Seems (seemed) to be ok if driven every day or so.
Thanks, Lowell
