Belt click on cold startup
The weather just got very cold and I noticed a very strong clicking sound coming from the engine at startup. After approximately 5-10 clicks it stops. I opened the hood and I saw the belt moving and the tensioner moving as well. It seems that some belt part is blocking the belt . Note that I the belt is new (gates) the idler pulley is new (original) , water pump new(original). It seems that the belt is moving in the alternator pulley and the noise comes from there. Could it be that the alternator gets stuck a bit upon startup is that possible ? Or the AC compressor? I have driven more than 12k km since the renewal.of the mentioned parts I.e. belt etc . Here is the video of the problem with the belt clickingand moving
