Greetings!

After much searching (both here and online) I am very interested to hear replies from our awesome group of members to my question, "Where shall I go to find Jaguar parts for my beloved cat?" I am searching for parts online and here in the USA, and hopefully somewhere in the Midwest/East as I am in the Cleveland Ohio area.

It's time for me to get to updating my '99 XJ8 with 90k miles.

Planning to do the following:
* Suspension (e.g. shocks, springs and bushings)
* Engine update and maintenance (e.g. timing chain guides, water pump, spark plugs)
* Wheels from an x350 (I think I read that with some adapters this is possible?)

If there is a list somewhere already posted, perhaps you can direct me to it?

I'm a computer nerd by trade, but for some bloody reason I can't seem to master searching (well FINDING!) posts on some forums including this one. Perhaps because it's so massive? Or I'm a bucket head.

I truly appreciate and value the contributing members time here, and I hope to become active and helpful to others as I embark on this update project (e.g. uploading project pictures and helpful hints)

Since you're in Cleveland (my hometown, now a Cincinnati transplant), try Euclid Foreign first. My friend up there buys most all his parts for his two X300s from EF. For a place more specific, try Welsh Enterprises in Steubenville and also SNG Barratt who's US branch is in New Hampshire. I usually buy from SNG, as their aftermarket bits (tie rod ends, etc..) are made in England, and not the Far East.

Not everyone carries everything, so I usually shop around each of them and find the best stock/price. I've found it wise to shop around. In the past I've saved as much as a couple hundred dollars between them. Can't say any one is better than the other, just depends on the part I'm looking for at the time. For instance, JagBits is the only one I could find my Sun Visor Clips at and they carry a pair for $25.
