Default Best source/Brand for 00 XJR ignition coils?

Need a new set of ignition coils for my (new to me) 00 XJR. Lots of previous mention about the coils but curious if the list has some consensus about the best (USA??) source and brand for these in June of 2013?

Jaguar Genuine OEM or the correct Denso number if you can find them. And none of them are made in the USA anyways.

sorry- source to order should be US- I realize that the parts are largely ?Japanese?- just didn't want to order an unproven brand from an unknown source...as far as correct OEM part- my experience is that the source for this too varies from supplier to supplier..

I changed all coils yesterday. The orginal Densos were made in Spain. Now I have set of Lucas coils. Since the Densos were still ok, I keep them as spare.

XJR....might I enquire as to why you felt it necessary to replace all coils??
The 2000 models are fitted with 4 pin coils that have their own internal amplifiesrs and the ability to set a code when misfires occur.

These are usually very reliable and it's quite often mishandling of the associated wiring harnesses that cause problems.

One more valiant try- still looking for a US source/brand for ignition coils for my 00 XJR. Rock Auto has Cambiare, Beck Ainley, Airtex and Standard brands of the 4 pin type- the latter are twice the price of the former- Any collective wisdom is appreciated!!

What I do is buy mine online from Advance Auto parts and use coupon code p20 to receive 20% off the coils. Currently they look to me 99.99 so you would get $20 each coil (and free shipping).

I have 6 extra coils off my 2002 XJR

Please send me a PM and I'll make you a sweet deal

I can send them to you first, and if they fix your problem, then you can pay me, if not, just send them back.

WD
