Default BH Performance Headers Being Installed!!!

Hello Fellow XJR fans. I am having Buckhead Performance Long Tube Headers installed in my 2003 Jaguar XJR R1.

They are going start on the project tommorrow. They are projecting a 30 to 40rwhp increase.

That should make my XJR very very quick! Here is some of the modifications I have at this time: K&N air intake system, Eurotoys 3psi upper pulley, SnoPerformance water/methanol kit, Eurotek ECU tune, Eurotek Designs lower crank pulley, Eurotek Designs Supercharger intercooler, Eurotoys low temp thermostat and Borla Cat-back exhaust system.

There is old video on Youtube of my XJR being dyno tested under Buckhead Performance. There will be NEW video on Youtube showing the install of the Headers, Dynotesting and some on road footage.

I'm projecting a high 11's low 12's in the 1/4mile. I will be testing it in the 1/4 mile at Road Atlanta Test and Tune Fridays.

I am curious on how they will sound while cruising and under full throttle. I will update you on Friday with some of my thoughts on the install.

Stay tuned!!!

WOW! You definitely have our attention. I too have the snow stage II water/meth kit on an otherwise stock engine. Dyno results showed only a 7hp gain, but I only have 9.5 psi from a tired blower.

What blower design are you using? I'm assuming it is an Eaton M112, is it a 3rd gen or fifth gen?

Are you still using the stock intake tube?

Have you dynoed your car before the addition of the headers?
Please post what the price is for the headers and installation. Some of us may follow your lead.

They are using my XJR for testing so the price will be different once released for sale to the public.

Eaton M112. From 2003. Yes. The car was dynoed before installation. No price set at this time. My XJR is being used for testing purposes so price will be higher than I paid.

Well, your car has a ported blower.

This results in a loss of peak power, correct?

Have you considered replacing the supercharger unit?

I have seen your car on YT, it is awesome, but I feel
like the only advantage is the loud noise from porting
the Eaton on this car. I hear it is disadvantageous
on the XJR, but on Cobras etc its a good upgrade.

Porting is a waste of money IMHO. I didn't notice any gains.

Well yet again we are waiting for someone to do something with headers for our cars.

No price. No Feedback. No Dyno.....no change to the situation...

Did you do a before dyno?

What did the car run 1/4 mile before?

Those pipes do look amazing. $2500 for everyone else for 30-40 HP is a bit steep, but some people have that kind of money.

Good for you that you pulled the trigger and are getting a much better deal.

More power to those like you who actually do stuff.

Some months ago they estimated price to be about $3500.
