Not saying this is your issue, but its something to keep in mind.
That dash almost looks as if the ribbon tape isn't seated properly. I got those when I pulled out my cluster to fix a bulb and reattached the cable ....I test things before closing them up, just in case ..and in this case it proved a correct procedure. Heck, I didn't know we had a low brake fluid light until that happened.
Probably cheaper to fit a new engine in it.get a 4.2 and slide it in

It cost me a lot of money to get the blow head gasket fixed.
After that was done I went ahead and tried to deal with the ABS module.
The ABS module that was on my car was fried so I bought one online from Module Repair out in California.
I received the new module and immediately the car stated "Wrong part fitted".
I had them send me a new module with the correct part #.
Car is still have the issue along with many faults.
Scanning tools cannot read the OBD2 port any more, claims its due to network error with ECM.
Here are my cars symptoms and codes.
1. Car will not get out of 1st gear
2. Transmission jerks when I put it in Drive or Reverse
3. Car tends to over heat since it cannot get out of first gear
4. Power steering slowly getting harder
DASH LIGHTS
Low brake fluid

Check engine light on
@ Miami did you put the original ABS pump back on THEN carry out a hard reset?
Hi Sean, yes I tried this method and still no luck. Original ABS module was fried beyond repair, I still tried to hook it up like you mentioned though.
So with that knowledge you'll be needing the correct ABS programmed module. Have you an independent Jaguar/Land Rover specialist in your area that can program your new module? This I'm certain will get rid of those dash warnings.

Hi Sean,
Yes I have purchased the correct module for me car. I am still have issues after install.
I am now taking it to a electrical engineer to check over all circuits of the car to make sure the car is sound electrically.
At the risk of repeating myself, you could have saved time by talking to a Jaguar specialist, if this isn't an option in your area, then a trip to the main dealer to reprogram the replacement module.
It is a programmable part, and you need someone who can electronically mate it to your car.
You don't need to find an exact match, even if you bought a new unit from Jaguar, they would still have to program it to your car.

Listen to Sean, he mentioned it several times, and he is right in this matter.
You might very well experience this with any other replacement ABS module you will find.

Hi Sean,
Thank you again for your time and help with this.
I have been to 2 Jaguar mechanics and 2 Jaguar dealerships.
All 4 are stating they cannot program the ABS module.
I am located in Miami 33139.
Do you happen to know of any trust worth mechanics that are willing to mate the ABS module to my car?
The question to ask these specialists/dealers service dept. is 'Have you got IDS software' - this is Jaguars information diagnostics, and with it they can access the car's electrical system/modules.
In your case I ring up and ask to speak to the service department manager at the main dealers.
I'm surprised a Jaguar mechanic doesn't know this, even more so that 2 don't, perhaps you just need the right info and the right person to speak to.
In the case of the dealers, they would normally attempt to sell you a new part at list price which standard practice, but with the right guy on the end of the phone, and a bit of knowledge displayed from yourself on the matter could have it booked in for a 'diagnostics plug in' and charged 1Hr for labour to reprogram the replacement.
But, having to go through the hassle of finding the right guy can be almost impossible, which is why many of our members including me have removed, cut open and resoldered the ABS pump contacts, then bonded the module back together and been done with the issue (the original part, not replacement)
An option here is to send your original to a forum member who has done this little job before and can carry it out for you if you're not mechanically inclined. I would gladly do it for you but I'm across the Atlantic. Hopefully a member close to home could do this.
I would suggest posting a help thread either in this forum (X308 model) and or the regional Florida forum. (ABS PUMP SOLDER HELP)
Once you've a working pump many of the warnings should go away, then you can deal with anything else, the main holdup will be the pump issue. Once it's fixed it will need rescanning via OBD to see what else is causing problems.
Here is the procedure from Jagrepair.com, JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource, this is the one I used instead of prying the cover off. Either works, its personal choice, the only difference on my end I used a "plug" (I drilled to the size of the plug) that has snap in clips so I only had to silicone it around the lip when I put it in.
There are many services on eBay also, most all say lifetime warranty, but that's up to you on who you want to trust if you want to go that route.
