Default Black trim on door frames - can it be swapped?

Hi, I have a '98 UK X308 XJR with black window frame trim and in a couple of places it's deformed. I also have a complete donor car. Is it possible to transfer the trims intact and if so, how are they fastened?

Thanks!

Here's a couple screenshots from the X308 Workshop Manual. Unfortunately the other references (501-18) doesn't appear to be specified in the manual. It went directly from 501-17 to 501-19.

Sounds like the door mouldings are installed with self adhesive tape. This is going to be a fun job(!)

Thanks again for the excerpts @Highhorse
